Safeguarding at Techademy AI

Child-centred learning, thoughtful boundaries and a clear route for concerns. This framework describes the intended approach while operational arrangements are being confirmed.

Framework under reviewFinal owner and professional approval is pending. Unresolved arrangements are identified below; this is not an approved legal policy.

01

Learning with care

The intended model combines child-appropriate online activities, structured teaching, teacher review and minimal unnecessary child information. These principles do not establish staff-vetting credentials or certification.

02

Parents, accounts and communication

Younger learners are intended to use parent-linked accounts. Communications should be structured and parent-mediated where appropriate, with suitable teacher/learner boundaries.

WhatsApp Business/cohort communication is a future possibility, not a live support channel. It must not enable uncontrolled private teacher-child messaging.

03

Welcome & Setup and live classes

The intended Welcome & Setup session prepares families for live learning. Expectations include respectful behaviour and language, an appropriate learning environment, parent awareness, avoiding unnecessary private information and teacher moderation.

Detailed participation, moderation, attendance and incident-response procedures still need approval. No detailed disciplinary rules are established by this framework.

04

Projects and public publication

Teacher review and parent consent before public publication are intended principles. Showcase publication is separate from ordinary participation; private learner information should not automatically become public.

The exact permissions, attribution, withdrawal and publication procedure require review before learner work is published.

05

Recordings

Techademy intends to support recordings where appropriate; availability is not guaranteed.

Whether sessions are recorded, how consent is obtained, who can access recordings, and retention and deletion arrangements are not yet approved. These must be communicated before any recording is introduced.

06

Reporting and escalation

For a concern connected with Techademy, use the dedicated safeguarding email link below. Share only information needed to explain the concern. Email is not an emergency channel; if someone is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency service.

The designated safeguarding lead, monitored response/escalation arrangements, staff-vetting model and school-specific procedures require confirmation. No DBS status, accreditation or government approval is asserted.
