Children are not simply being given unrestricted AI access. The intended approach introduces tools with guidance, thoughtful setup and clear boundaries.
The learner’s creativity and judgement remain central. We do not make blanket safety or compliance claims about third-party tools.

Privacy and parent-linked accounts
Techademy is designed around parent-linked child accounts. Child information should be minimised, and full child identities should not automatically become public.
Learning information is used to provide and track the learning experience. Publication is a separate choice from ordinary course participation.
Privacy-preserving attribution options could include limited attribution without a full child identity; specific options and withdrawal handling remain to be confirmed.

Does my child need previous AI experience?
AI Creators introduces younger learners to AI through creative activity; AI Builders develops practical AI and digital project skills for teenagers. Check the relevant course page and contact us if you are unsure about the right starting point.
What equipment do they need?
Use the preparation checklist as a starting point. Device, browser, audio, webcam and account requirements will be confirmed for each course; Welcome & Setup is planned to help parents check readiness. No commercial AI subscription is made mandatory by this page.
Are the classes live?
The children’s courses are live online and teacher-led, with guided demonstrations, participation and practical project time. The integrated portal-to-Google Meet joining experience is planned.
How large are groups?
Techademy describes these courses as small cohorts, with space to ask questions and participate. A fixed group-size limit is not specified here; ask about the cohort for your chosen course.
Do I need to attend?
The planned 30-minute Welcome & Setup session includes parent and child. Ongoing parent involvement and supervision expectations will be confirmed for the course; this page does not promise that every lesson can be attended independently.
What happens if a lesson is missed?
The intended approach uses lesson resources, progress information and support to clarify what was missed. Course-specific attendance and catch-up rules will be set out in Techademy policy. Recording access, refunds or rescheduling are not guaranteed here.
Is there homework?
Structured activities and assignment / project work reinforce what children learn within and between lessons. They are intended to support creation rather than excessive school-style homework; course-specific expectations will be confirmed.
What will I be able to see?
The planned parent dashboard brings together children, current courses, progress, attendance, upcoming lessons, assignments, project progress, tutor feedback, achievements, reports, certificates, payments / receipts and publication consent.
How are AI tools used responsibly?
The intended approach combines age-appropriate tool selection, parent-supported setup where appropriate, responsible prompting, output checking, privacy awareness and human judgement. Third-party tools have their own rules; we do not claim they are universally safe or compliant.
Is my child’s work made public automatically?
No automatic public publication is part of the planned approach. Public sharing will be off by default, separate from course completion, and subject to teacher review, parent preview and consent, moderation and optional publication. Parents should ultimately be able to withdraw publication permission.
